Ajax Search Pro:

As of version 3.27, the plugin is compatible with Ajax Search Pro

Divi Page Builder:

The post author on single posts may not be properly displayed and should be replaced with the appropriate shortcode in the code element.

TagDiv Page Builder:

As of 4.15, the plugin is compatible with TagDiv cloud blocks and post authors appear to be displaying correctly on single posts. We will address issues on a case by case basis during the trial period.

Elementor Pro Page Builder:

As of version 3.20, the plugin is compatible with the elementor author box and the post list. Please see

Guest Author Archives with Elementor Pro

Elementor Free Page Builder:

To use the free version of Elementor on single posts, you must Disable guest author archives in the plugin settings. This will disable guest author archives for all guest authors..

Co-Authors Plus:

These two plugins do different things.

Guest Author Name Premium is not compatible with other plugins that use a guest-author post type. If you have Co-Authors Plus installed and want to be able to edit guest authors, you can download the plugin below to disable the Co-Authors Plus Guest Authors menu. If you do not do this, our guest authors menu will not be available on your dashboard for editing although Guest Authors that you enter while editing posts will be available in your posts. Guest archives will not be available unless you change the slug.

Our plugin currently handles multiple authors.

Similarly, this plugin is not compatible with Monlogui.  You should only have one of these plugins installed. Again, you can enter guest authors while editing posts but guest archives will not be available using our plugin while Monlogui is enabled and vice-versa.

Ideally you should not have more than one plugin that allows guest authors to be installed at the same time. You can try changing the slug in the guest author settings but we do not guarantee functionality as these plugins will be in conflict. 

If you want to have more than one plugin enabled at the same time, you may have to disable and enable the plugins to edit guest authors in either case. To disable just activate the plugin, allowing you to edit your guest author name authors and to enable guest archives. To re-enable, deactivate it to edit your guest author name authors. You can do this temporarily in order to edit your co-authors plus guest authors.  Again, you really should not use more than one plugin that creates guest authors.

PS Taxonomy Expander

The plugin has been abandoned. and breaks Guest Author Name Premium quick edit and bulk edit functionality.

WP User Avatar  – Enter ‘user_avatar’ in the settings under “Miscellaneous Settings”

Author Boxes

 The guest author image will not display properly while using some author boxes. The boxes below have been tested with our plugin.

Meks Smart Widget:

The Meks Smart Author Widget functions well if you only use Guest Authors on your website and disable automatic author detection. If automatic author detection is turned on, the warning message can be ignored and WP_DEBUG should be disabled: define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false) in WP_Config.php.

Simple Author Box:

Simple author box works well with this plugin.

JNews:

Jnews (likely all Jegtheme themes) requires extensive customization to work with guest author plugins. You can download an example function.php file that can be added to your custom theme by clicking here.
